Deb Sawyer, author of the book “Stress Free Dressing”, visited my home and demonstrated why her book is selling like hot cakes. The 2.5 hour session with Deb was simply, AMAZING.
I have had my colours done many years previously, been to style seminars, am a graphic designer, so I have a reasonable idea of what goes with what etc. However, I have never seen the information presented to me in such an easy to understand way that makes sense. Further, the Wardrobe Workout has left me feeling great about the clothes I do have instead of feeling sad about the clothes I don’t.
So I am planning on getting Deb in for the WCI girls. We’re thinking a two hour training session, with an extra hour available for questions over coffee… $50 per person (for members) and $60 for non-members – valued at $159, so is a great deal! Those who attend will get to walk away with a copy of her step-by-step guide (Stress Free Dressing) plus notes from the seminar, which further embeds the knowledge gained from the workshop.
If you’d like to register an expression of interest in the event which will be held in June, 2011, please pop a comment below so we can guage the level of interest.
I only recommend services that I really feel are beneficial to our membership and I have no hesitation in recommending Deb to you. You’ll see what I mean when we host the workshop!
Watch the DVD to better understand my experience.

One of the goals of Women Can International Inc is to support women to find and take the next step in their journey. One of the ways that we do this is to provide education to women that will open doors for them. Social Media is a growing phenomenon around the world and the online community is rapidly becoming an exciting place for women to find their next step. Consequently, we have risen to the challenge and are offering a once a month session for members of Women Can International Inc who want to learn more about the “How To’s” of being connected online.
The policy of the Club is simple. Members may attend as many sessions a year as they like and guests may attend one session per annum.
Specialists are then invited to contribute their skills and knowledge to the Club, giving them the opportunity to showcase their expertise and provide valuable content for our program.
The Club runs on the third Friday of the month at 12:00 noon and anyone with access to a computer and Skype can join the conference.
To register for the club go to http://wcisocialmediamentoring.eventbrite.com and register for the session you are interested in. The guest speaker will change from session to session, some great speakers lined up including Chris Lucas, Sue Papadoulis.

I am currently in discussions with the Your Life Styled team from Busselton about getting up our ‘Own Your Skin Campaign‘ Personal Development Retreat Program this year. This program was one of five programs I received by “divine” download when I first started Women Can International Inc and I have been waiting for the right opportunity to launch it. I would just like to get some feedback from the members and friends of Women Can International Inc before we go to the effort of hiring a venue and finalising the content for the retreats.
Would you please take 2 minutes and complete this survey?
In completing the survey you will get an idea of what we are thinking of in the way of content and I guarantee that there will be something for everyone at all stages of life in the program.
If we proceed, we will also be looking for people to work with us in our leadership teams for the retreat. If you have a heart for developing women and would like tovolunteer for a weekend retreat, I’d love to hear from you. Simply email me and let me know why you are interested and what you would like to contribute.

Do you want to understand what’s going wrong in your home or personal relationships, so you can fix the root cause and not just apply a bandaid solution?
Process Mapping allows you to get an objective perspective so you can fix the root of the problem, not just deal with the symptoms. Sometimes you just need to see it to work out what is missing.
Hayley Solich explains what the workshop is all about…
Jodi Martin, CEO of Loboh Enterprises Pty Ltd, a Queensland based Business Consultant and Process Re-Engineering Specialist, has generously offered to come to Perth to deliver a Process Mapping course for the members and supporters of Women Can International Inc.
This workshop is highly subsidised by Loboh Enterprises and Women Can International Inc and usually costs $997 for 2 days, or $595 for 1 day. Held in Perth, you can access this workshop for $97 Day One WCI Members, $127 Non Members and Both Days $194.00 for Members and $254 for non members.
So what is the workshop about, who is it for and what will participants gain?
About: Organize your department, business or even home using the key skills gained in this hands-on course!
Don’t just guess what may be going wrong; Map it and know for sure!
For: This course is aimed at the New Manager, Team Leader, Business Analyst or Individual and provides a standardized approach to generate long term sustainable benefits through process mapping.
Participants will gain:
This workshop is very hands on and run by active industry professionals to ensure you are learning from someone who knows not just the theory but also how to easily put it all into practice. If you choose to attend the second day you will be able to bring a scenario from your business or personal life to use as a practical and to be worked on by the group with feedback from Jodi.
Cost includes morning tea and light lunch.

One of our members, Sue Crawford, shared with me today a great idea for a birthday cake that is under $10, takes literally 5 mins to prepare and kids really love.
What you will need:
1 tub of ice cream (icecream flavour of choice, although Neopolitan looks fabulous colourwise)
1 or 2 packets of Smarties (or similar)
1 packet of freckles or marshmallows (or toppings of your choice)
Place icecream container bottom into a sink of hot water for 5 secs.
Tip icecream upside down onto a plate – object is to get the whole tub of icecream sitting upside down on a plate without the container.
Decorate the cake with whatever decorations you like (we use smarties, freckles and marshmallows).
Add candles and serve.
Here is the end results! You have to agree, it looks fantastic and the reports from children is that it tastes amazing!
Thank you, Sue for your cool idea.
If you have any time and money saving ideas and tips that will make our member’s lives easier, please pop them through to Hayley.
